When comparing factoring with traditional forms of bank funding, such as loans and overdrafts, businesses also seem to consistently overlook the value of the credit control service that forms part of the factoring product (but not loans or overdrafts). Factoring can work out to be a far cheaper form of funding than overdraft when the savings from not having to employ credit control staff are taken into account.
